Recent stories of the world's first pregnant man caught the entire world's attention last week, and it didn't take long for Thomas Beattie to land himself a spot on the Oprah Show.
Today in a People/Oprah exclusive interview Beattie, born a woman, told his story, including his mother's suicide when he was only 12, his time spent as a Miss Teen Hawaii U.S.A. finalist, and the transition he made from womanhood to manhood.
Beattie, has previously had surgery to remove both breasts and has taken testosterone to give him a male appearance, stopping two years before attempting to conceive a child.
Beattie is now six months along with a baby girl and says that being pregnant doesn't make him feel more feminine, and that he still feels like a man.
