Sania Wyatt has tagged me to write my Simply Successful Secrets. Aaron Potts of Today Is That Day started
Simply Successful Secrets as an interactive research project.
Here's what it's all about:
Compose a new blog post listing the top 5 to 10 things that you do almost every day that help you to be successful. They can be anything at all, but they have to be things that you do at least 4 or 5 times every week. Anything less than that may be a hobby that helps you out, but we are after the real day in and day out habits that help you to be successful.
And there's further instructions here: Simply Successful Secrets
So here goes:
1. I do something towards my goals everyday. Sometimes life gets hectic, I get sick, or I'm just plain tired. Even on those days I try to do even one small thing towards my list of goals.
2. Read a motivational or self help book, magazine, article, or blogs to educate myself, stay motivated, and remind me of who I want to be. I also surround myself with the quotes of successful people.
3. Visualize - I believe strongly in visualization. What you imagine yourself to be is who you will be in the future. I've been doing visualization for years, and it works! I take ten to twenty minutes a day to relax and see (and even feel) what my future will be like.
4. Practice living the law of attraction principles.
5. Be Grateful for everything that I have and appreciate it deeply.
6. Help Someone - We can't always save the world, although on some days I try. But sometimes just holding the door open for someone, smiling at someone as you walk by, or saying something nice to an obviously stressed out store employee is helping. Everywhere we go there is an opportunity to help someone even if it's only in a small way, you never know how far you'll kindness will really go since it tends to have a chain effect.
